The New Centre Of Gravity
The West is done and its demise is now becoming more farcical than tragic.
The rot is as much a cultural problem as it is a political one.
When your house is rotting that badly then you can’t save it. You just need to bail and find somewhere else to live. Whether that means you build a new house at/near site of the old or try your luck in a completely new land, there is nothing to be gained by wasting your energy trying to prop up what is too rotten to stand.
Spain has been the latest humiliating exposure of the old west.
But this is one of those times where both the left and the right seem to lack answers.
The left are being their classic self-indulgent traitor-commie selves. That’s no surprise and there’s not much more to be said about it. People in our quarters have spent years and years trying to tell them and they didn’t listen . In fact they persecuted the right instead and turned us against them, because they turned against us. They denied us the basic civil freedoms that we granted them. So that’s all done now and the broken bridges won’t be fixed.
What surprises and saddens me is the lack of coherent organised resistant and the hyperbole on the right.
One phrase in particular: “military-aged men”.
They may be military-aged, but they hardly look military-trained. They look like skinny beach-boy zoomer-losers on an end-of-school holiday party.
Some well equipped riot-police with shoot-to-kill orders should’ve been able to sort them out in a hurry. The fact that they didn’t, and that there were no more than about 20-60 soldiers for Spain to call on, indicates a complete lack of will to fight back. Not only a lack of will but a lack of means, preparation, foresight or concern.
Social-media pontificators and celebrities spouting outrage, while beneficial to signal the failure, are not going to do much to fix it.
What’s needed are truly practical people. People who firstly have a clear definition of what kind of Spain they are trying to defend, have a sense of moral virtue and a people, a nation of willing Spaniards, on their side, and have some sense of organisation and skillset in warfare and running the nuts and bolts of a functional society.
Instead I read that these lost territories, Ceuta etc, were already 50% Moroccan anyway, that mosques are clearly visible and the call to prayer regularly heard, and that occupations like taxi-drivers are essentially all Moroccoan.
So if, based off this info, half the population is Moroccan and they occupy the lions share of critical roles (or other migrants), what exactly do the Spaniards do to operate their own city and territory? Please don’t tell me they are just some form of decadent idle rich, because that’s exactly what it looks like. And if that’s true then it really is lights out, all over red rover. Congratulations Morocco, you won it without even trying. Looking forward to my own visit one day for some sun sea and harissa dip. Or whatever it is people do there. I don’t know and don’t care. It’s too far away to save and my investment of concern is surprisingly not that high. The EU has been rotten for a long time, the Euro common currency and Schengen zones were utterly stupid ideas, the EU parliament has been completely undemocratic and contemptuous of its own people and strangled their ability to run a properly sustainable society based on European norms, which is ironic since it was “sustainability” that was the popular marketing term used to justify all the stupid green tape they put in.
But its done, its over.
If they start throwing the paintings of Velazquez, Goya or Dali into the fire as haram then I’ll be a little pissed off but they are fundamentally material items too and I’ve got some books as do many other people.
But apart from the material items and the dirt on which they stand, what are we protecting? Western morality? At this point it’s degenerated so badly, in just the last 12 years or so, that there’s really no point saving it and moving to an Islamic-based government will probably be something of an improvement.
No one wanted fags to marry and tranny storytime. No one wanted pride parades or gender-alterations (mutilations) for kids. No one wanted sacred traditional sites and customs mocked, no one wanted the perverse extremes celebrated as normal. The people who promoted this stuff are sick and obscene, the people who fell for it are mentally unwell, and the rest of us just want a normal orderly life again, with some semblance of traditional morality to it that’s tethered to the laws of God and nature, which are really one and the same.
The intergenerational compact also broke down as so many leftist boomers and Xers were just so selfish. The young people have no stake in the society their parents did. The parents were protected by a legal system based off a cultural tradition that they resented and turned against, and deliberately undermined with mass immigration and mocking and destroying Christian morality. When they became the establishment themselves they turned their own kids into enemies of the state simply because their kids, my generation essentially, requested that things go back to the way they were before and that we could have a stake in this society too. Home ownership, savings, the ability to start our own businesses and speak freely on topics that concerned us. Not to be, not to be. SO everyone has learned to operate in a different way in order to survive. A lot of people moved around, went underground, did whatever they had to do. The schools by the sounds of it teach utter garbage. The old media is full of crap and lies. The cultural gatekeepers shut out the young men of the country and at the same time publicly lambasted them either for things they didn’t do, or for things about themselves that were naturally who they were (assertiveness, confidence, strength, boldness etc).
So what now? Protect what you can. Your home, your source of income, your friends and family (the actual ones whom you trust), ensure your basic needs are met, be a good representative of the community in which you’ve chosen to commit to. Try and keep open a plan B if you can. Keep alive the memories of the past and all the good shit that’s worth preserving and passing on to the next gen.
As for the title, the new centre of gravity is east: Eastern Europe, the Middle East, Russia, Central Asia, East Asia (the parts not destroyed by pollution of overpopulation). You could probably include increasing parts of Africa. The places all have their share of problems but they are where some form of Godly morality is, where social conservatism and pride of tradition still exists, where the wealth is, the military strength is, the cutting edge technology, the practical ability, the innovation, the acumen, the more likeable people, the greater social harmony, the spiritual will. And it’s certainly where i’d go if I could. For now I’m stuck here though and figured I’d start learning Turkish as there are is a noticeable Turkish element in my local suburb, and the Turks around Melbourne always seem to be a pretty good group of people. Decent, chilled, well-adjusted, a good work ethic, practical, not drawing too much attention to themselves. There’s plenty of them in electronics-tech it seems.
Ironically my first foray into political activism was attending a free-speech rally in Melbourne about 10 or 11 years ago. I was concerned for the imminent future of the west and wanted to do what I could to save it. This rally was at the State Library. I went with my mate. Only about 20 other people turned up. It was so badly attended that the Turkish National Day rally - that was waiting for their turn after we were done - looked to have double the amount of people that we did before they had even gotten started. Maybe I was attending the wrong event that day and should’ve put my energy elsewhere. Maybe I should’ve just hung out with the Turks from the get go.
No I’m not converting to Islam. But to be honest that increasingly looks like a paranoia from another time now. The Turks seem fairly chilled and moderate. They just don’t want any gay shit, and neither do I.
Listening to the History of Byzantium podcast as a regular habit again, I’ve just completed the episodes on the Sack of Constantinople in 1204 by the Western Latin crusaders. This has been portrayed as a great historic crime and tragedy, but narrator Robin Pearson’s belief was that it was more farcical than tragic. There was a lot of mismanagement and stupid division inside the Byzantine camp essentially.
Another interesting one: The Fall of Constantinople in 1453. Apparently the massive cannon the Turks used to destroy the walls and take a city where all the best shit had already be piffed by the Western Crusaders and Venetians 249 years earlier, was actually sold to them by a Hungarian inventor who had improved on a Mongolian design. This Hungarian “raging autist” (as substacker GLO calls him) has apparently offered to sell it to the Byzantines several times and they refused, at which point he just went “fuck it, ill sell to the Turks to make a buck”. European Unity is great until you realise that a certain segment of Europeans insist on being so endlessly stupid and lazy that you lose all sympathy for them. And that’s pretty much the case with too many of them today.
Next time: I’ll be talking about everything that shits me off about the Greeks.
