Happy Halloween
We salute thee. They say this is the time of year when the wall between our realm and the spiritual realm is at its thinnest. Dailymail said so.
I was gonna do a longer post reviewing some scary records and whatnot, but that all fell by the wayside as I got buried in software-failure hell with two nightmare work jobs. One seems somewhat metaphorical for the days mysterious and spooky theme: chasing a firmware that can’t be found for a device that Lenovo denies even exists - because the serial number can’t be found online.
A pretty mundane way to spend the day but there it is. Well, not mundane for me. Chasing digital ghosts did make the day go faster.
But you can mark the occasion anywhere, any way, any old how. So the following photo gallery presents my efforts at the day job.
May you have a frightful and ..happy? .. all Hallows’ Eve wherever you are. AKA All Saint’s Day, and All Souls day, and Day of the Dead, and so on and so on. It’s all likely meant to be the same thing.
Woooahahi’mascaryghost! Boo! hahaha. lolzors…
The current national mood.
Ever heard the one about the missing compliance officer? Who went to check the meters and never came back. Well he’s still rockin’ wherever he is.
I even made a way to keep the work itself on theme. I’m stress-testing a graphics card here.
NO further discounts! Don’t argue with a one-eyed man.
ahh you handsome fellow.
