Chill Doomerlord: Ai Is Not The ENd Of The World

Unless all you did for work was surf the net.

Zerohedge, via Edward Ring at AmericanGreatness, conveying some Ai doomporn to us all.

Remember people, it is just a tool.

But then no wonder so many white-collars are shitting their pants. The most useless and tool-retarded of all people. (observe Chip Le Grand as a local Melbournian panic-monger).

Many of these people deserve it. They’ve been pampered and oversalaried for many many years. They lounged about in the work-from-home routine during lockdown and scolded or lolled at the rest of us who didn’t have that luxury because our work depended on real-life interactions.

Time for this lot to get used to struggletown. Maybe they should learn to code and code the ai, and then wait for the ai bot to steal their coding job.

Don’t worry, the cleaners and fixers will still be needed for a while yet. And ambo drivers, and school-crossing supervisors, and garbos, and truckies and farmers.
