Of course the Data Centre boom has led to a shitload of construction and sucked up a bunch of our reserve water for coolant in the middle of a very dry year, while simultaeneously there is no snow falling in the Vic Alps.
Melbourne’s Water Storage for all dams is currently about 64.1%, this time four years ago is was 86.81%.
We lost 22.7% in four years.
It has definitely felt like it’s been raining less in the last year or two. El Nino or something.
